Dear Parents/Carers
Breakfast Club
I would like to remind you that we run a Breakfast Club every morning starting at 8.00am. It only costs 40p a day and provides cereal, toast and a drink with a regular hot choice such as beans or spaghetti. Children who attend Breakfast Club take part in supervised play activities after they have eaten and twice a week the older children play football in the MUGA with a qualified coach. You do not need to make a regular commitment – just bring your child when you need an early (or peaceful!) start to the day.
New books coming!!!
Last Friday Mrs Thorne, Miss Cameron, Mrs Strang and Mrs Harper paid a visit to Aladdin’s Cave – well not literally, but we went to a wonderful children’s bookshop in
We had asked teachers and children what they would like to have for both their classes and the library and we beavered away all day collecting books. We hope that they will be arriving soon and that after half term there will be many new books, fiction and non-fiction, in school for children to read, share and enjoy.
