School Organisation
Windwhistle is organised into three stages, which match the structure of the National Curriculum.  This is so that the ethos and practice in each stage can reflect the needs and development of the children.

Foundation Stage - Nursery and Reception

Nursery has 60 places with children attending morning and/or afternoon sessions.  Each session has a Teacher and two Nursery Nurses.

Reception is organised into two classes.  Each class has a Teacher and a Learning Support Assistant so that there are always two adults to support the children.

Key Stage 1 - Years 1 and 2

There are two classes in each year group.  Each class has a Teacher and a Learning Support Assistant so that there are two adults in each class to support children.

Key Stage 2 - Year 3, 4, 5 and 6
