The School has a uniform which children are expected to wear and which we work hard to promote with parents. By wearing uniform we believe that children come to school expecting to learn and feeling that they belong.
We work hard to make sure children's belongings are safe but we find it difficult to return lost property if it is not clearly labelled.
SCHOOL SWEATSHIRTS (boys and girls) AND SWEAT CARDIGANS (girls) IN ROYAL BLUE – THE SCHOOL COLOUR are worn all year round and are available from the School Office.
SCHOOL POLO SHIRTS - are worn all year round by boys and girls and are available from the School Office. We are happy for children to wear white polo shirts without the school crest.
TROUSERS/SKIRTS/PINAFORES - these should be grey or black traditional style trousers or shorts. Tracksuit trousers are not part of the school uniform.
DRESSES - in summer, girls can wear blue and white checked or striped dresses.
SHOES – Flat, sensible black shoes, NOT trainers. Children need to wear shoes in which they can play safely. They also need to be taken on and off easily for P.E. High fashion shoes are not suitable for school surfaces and stairs.
JEWELLERY – For safety, no jewellery should be worn apart from small studs or sleepers. Watches are permitted but may need to be removed for PE.
P.E. CLOTHING - plain shorts and t-shirts, preferably blue or white. Plimsolls are very important for outdoor P.E. P.E. clothing should be kept in a drawstring bag. Studs should be removed for P.E. lessons or taped over.
