Geography

They are taught through Themes which explore physical and social geography. 

Exploration is made of the local environment working out from the school to the whole of Weston-super-Mare. The children learn to compare their locality with others which are very different, both in this country and in other parts of the world.

 

Field trips are incorporated into most studies and some take place on our partner farm which is close to Bristol Airport.  Here the children can learn mapping, orienteering and land use.
