Dear Parents

Attendance

If your child is absent please phone the School or send in a note on their return to school.  If we do not hear from you the absence is recorded in the registers as “Unauthorised”.

New School Website

We have set up a new Windwhistle School website.  The website address is:

www.windwhistleschool.co.uk

There is much more information than on the old website and it looks smarter too.  If you have access to the Internet I hope you will be able to visit the website from time to time during the year.  All of the “Comments” have been copied across from the old website and it would be lovely if you could add some new ones telling us what you think about the new website.

Parents At Windwhistle School (PAWS)

Playground equipment: WE NEED YOUR HELP - We want to raise some more money towards playground equipment for the children to use.  If you have any ideas, suggestions or would like to help:

Please come to PAWS coffee morning on Monday 11th Feb, 8.45 in Mrs Hond's room.  Lots of cakes and biscuits to help with inspiring ideas! Everyone welcome.

Tantrums, Tempers and Tearaways

Having problems with your child or children, then help is at hand!

Windwhistle, Oldmixon and Christchurch Schools are providing free sessions starting on Tuesday 22nd January 2008 at the Healthy Living Centre, to help you improve your child's behaviour.  Places are limited, to book please contact Phyllis Selby on 077 1717 5984 or leave a message with the School office
