Dear Parents

Year 6 SATs Week – 14^th to 18^th May 2012

This will be a very important week for the Year 6 children and I am giving you the dates now to ensure that no-one books a holiday for that week.  Children need to be in school every day of that week to ensure that they can take all of the tests.

Dinner Money

Please make sure that the week’s dinner money is paid every MONDAY.  If your child only has one or two meals a week this can be paid in advance on the day.  We do not want to allow families to accumulate outstanding dinner money and ask that you send your child with sandwiches if you have outstanding dinner money.  If you think you may be entitled to Free School Meals please speak to Mrs Galliers in the Office as soon as possible.

Attendance and Punctuality

May I remind you to call the school by 9.30am on the first morning that your child is away.  This helps us to ensure that all children who have left home to come to school have arrived safely. 

Children who arrive after 8.45am are late for registration and must enter the School via the Office to sign in.  If they arrive after 9.15am this will be counted as an unauthorised absence for that period.

We are always keen to support families who are finding it difficult to maintain their child’s regular, punctual attendance so please let me know if you think we can help you.
