Year 4
Year 4 Home Learning
Hi everyone in Year 4,
It has been so strange not seeing you all each day and we can’t wait until we are all back together in school, whenever that might be. We have been spending time with our families and in the garden and getting our daily exercise too, although not always with Joe Wickes! We have also been busy planning work for
you to do at home and when we are back in school. Please keep posting your photos on our Y4 Facebook page - it really brightens our day seeing that you are happy, busy and doing new things with your family.
Keep safe and see you soon
Mrs Nicholson and Miss Clayton
Dear Parents/Carers,
Welcome back to Term 6.
We hope you had a good half term and enjoyed the lovely weather we have been having. We are both missing you all and look forward to a time when we can all be together again. Home learning is changing slightly due to staff and some children returning to school soon.
From Monday 1st June, we will not be putting daily work on the school website. Instead, we are directing you to use websites that provide daily sessions at this time. We have already been using them so they should be familiar to you.
We would like you to continue using Times Table Rockstars and we will continue to set tournaments between 4N and 4C.
We would also like you to continue accessing Oxford Owl or your own texts and aim to read for around 20 minutes each day- you may need to create a free log in for Oxford Owl.
Maths-

Writing – It would be lovely to hear about your adventures and activities whilst we have been in lockdown. We would like you to write a diary of your activities each day (don’t worry if you miss a day).
Think about including:
- What you have done
- Your thoughts/ feelings
- Wishes/wants.
If you require any information or log in details for bug club or TT Rock stars, please email yr4@windwhistle.extendlearning.org
Please continue to post on the year4 Facebook group as we have really enjoyed seeing what you have all been busy doing and we both really appreciate all the time you have spent doing this.
Thank you Mrs Nicholson and Miss Clayton
