Windwhistle YOUng CARErs - You care, we care.
Young Carers are children under 18, that take on extra caring responsibilities, from small tasks to round the clock care, when those around them are physically or mentally unable to do so. They offer their family support, often putting their won needs last.
Here at Windwhistle, we recognise and praise our Young Carers by providing a safe, secure environment that they can rely on when they have needs of their own. We hold activities and chat sessions, aimed at the child's own interests. Young Carers groups run across all year groups for fun, friendship and support.
